Genderquake welcomes diversity and wants to promote a risk-taking, creative and learning culture.

We are currently looking to expand the Genderquake professional network so if you have expertise in policy and communications, creative services, and consultancy, and you are a writer, designer, illustrator, creative and consultant interested in exploring how to work with us please make contact and send in your CVs to enquiries@genderquake.com and one page of A4 describing how you think you could work with Genderquake.

We are not recruiting for any jobs, but do welcome expressions of interest from freelancers (and organisations) who can see a fit and are interested in working with us. Genderquake Associates are likely to have strong communication skills, and will be at ease in a fluid and fast changing environment where hierarchy is out and networking, and task orientation around core deliverables is in. Many will be self-starters, entrepreneurial, and quick thinkers. We are especially looking for people who are team players, and enjoy working in creative, diverse and goal-oriented teams, where the boundaries between marketing, community, content, business development, research and consultancy, are porous. You are likely to be a skilled multi-tasker, with transferable skills, and may well have moved between sectors, and occupations already. You will also be someone who brings your soul, and passion into the workplace and who is committed to making a difference.

We are particularly interested in people with skills and competencies in the following areas:

Marketing & Business Development – with particular expertise in cause related marketing;

  Policy and Development expertise in key ‘genderquake areas’ – gender equality, child care, work-life, new ways of working, and new forms of entrepreneurship – with particular experience working with the public sector and third sector;
  Writers' pool - bringing the Genderquake vision to life, writing and reporting on trends in the changing gender landscape. This is an excellent opportunity for people beginning careers in research, journalism and publishing to gain experience and be published online or even to develop some publishing products from scratch;
  Creative Services - with particular expertise in copy writing, web design (& development) marketing and business development, policy and communications.

In addition, we also encourage students interested in an internship – virtual – as well as London and Brighton based – with expertise in the areas above, or a passion and commitment to make a difference.
