About Us > Vision
Whilst many people might agree about
the definition
of the genderquake, there is far less consensus about the social consequences
of these changes, and how we should react to them.
Here at Genderquake Limited we are optimistic and positive about these
changes. We believe that this shift in values and power brings tangible
benefits to individuals, organisations and society at large and we
are committed to helping organisations and individuals men
as well as women realise these benefits for themselves.
Our vision is one in which power between men and women is more equally
shared, and where equal weight is placed on feminine and masculine
perspectives. It is also of a society where these attributes are not
seen as the domain of one sex or the other, and gender stereotypes
are challenged.
This vision is encapsulated in our logo - the coming together of male
and female symbols and identities adds value to both, reshaping and
producing something entirely unique. In this sense, our logo foreshadows
a world where men and women are no longer constrained by gender stereotypes
but are liberated to achieve their individual potential and can work
in partnership together.
In short, greater equality will promote diversity and liberate us
all. It will also allow us to equally value male and female perspectives
in everything that we do.
Genderquake is committed to making that vision a reality through a
wide range of activities some small, some more ambitious
one step at a time.
